| One of the most impactful aspects of membership in the American Society of Concrete Contractors is increased access to resources, information, and shared experiences for those working in the concrete industry. Much of this access comes in the form of information-sharing among contractors in forums and discussion groups. MIX Groups offer a personal dynamic between members you can’t find in any other resource. Potential members meet each other first in a relaxed setting which typically occurs at a MIX Group orientation meeting. ASCC is holding a MIX Group Orientation this fall as part of the ASCC Annual Conference. At this full day session, you experience the actual MIX Group meeting environment. New groups are formed following the orientation meeting.
On Tuesday, September 26 through Wednesday, September 27, ASCC will hold a meeting to present a comprehensive overview of MIX Groups, and to form one or two new groups. Tuesday, September 26th will be a meet and greet reception to acquaint MIX Group Orientation members followed by a comprehensive all-day session the following Wednesday. ASCC is looking for new candidates for MIX Groups and hope you’ll be able to attend. The meeting will be in Grand Rapids, MI at the Amway Grand Hotel in conjunction with ASCC Annual Conference. Gary Burleson, Etico Construction and John Borges of Coloscapes will facilitate the meeting. The schedule provides a good taste of how a MIX Group functions and gives attendees a chance to become acquainted with other contractors and their companies, to determine the best fit for everyone.

The meeting in Grand Rapids is limited to fourteen attendees and the group is rapidly filling.
